OK I've done a search with no results. So have you guys come across this gentleman? Look and sound familiar? That's Jaco's son on drums, so how creepy is that? Check Massimo's website, he even has similar features. The guitarist is doing a good Metheny impression too.
Edit: just seen he's a TBer, no posts though.

I was trying to be polite here but at second inspection...no thanks.

yeah, I can dig how some people will be turned off by the similarities. Can't be helped I suppose. It's not like he's jumping on the bass and playing "Teen Town" though (unless I just haven't found that clip yet... )
The guy can play - brilliantly imo. A lot of what Jaco left us in those later years was dreck. Nice to have some new, *good* stuff in that style to listen to.
Just my opinion, of course

Again, pure IMO. |

Again, pure IMO. | Yeah, and what's up with him being all wirey and sort of olivey looking? What a copy cat??
I was about to say that I can't find a clip of him playing anything, but then I did find a youtube clip where he bebopping pretty good...

That's more than a little bit derivative - that's A LOT. And frankly it's kind of annoying. And that's just his playing. Throw in the look, the moves, the bass....
I bet a certain someone is cracking up in his grave right now.

No?
Not sure if that "certain someone" is cracking up or crying right now

He looks young, I'd give him some time to come up with his own voice, we almost all go through a hero-worship phase. He certainly has the technique and foundation to go wherever he wants.
