Does he use his middle finger? or just the index+ring finger.

Back to the thread : I like the effect on the solo, don't know what it is but it hads a little something that makes it more spacy.

It does appear that he plucks with just the index and ring finger, not using the middle finger...strange.

The effect sounds to me like a flanger.

i think he was using his index and pointer, and for some of the solo using his middle which i think is a wicket approach espically if you wanna stregnthen your other finger

It actually makes sense in that the index and ring fingers are closer in length than index and middle, but it would be awkward just having the middle finger in between but not doing anything.
