I saw them in Nashville a few months back. I expected more since folks hype them up so much. If you wanna see a great alt-country band check out the Old 97's. One of the best gigs that I've seen.

Absolutely a great band. They keep getting better and better. Also, do yourself a favor and check out the period of time when Jason Isbell was playing with DBT. He is an amazing songwriter, plus he was also married to the bass player, Shonna...how cool is that?

She was playing some kind of 70s Jazz Bass Reissue.

I've seen them several times before, a few times before Shonna was in the band. Jason was great, but this was probably the best show I've seen them play.
Jason's new album is great BTW.
