Either that or he's trolling.

No, i'm serious.

Why the hell would I troll? It's my job to make sure people aren't trolling.

Whatever, anyway. I'm serious. My dream gig is this disney pop stuff, so if someone knows a guy in the band who is usually hired, I'd love to try to get a hold of him.

It was a guy named Bernard Harvey. He is one of our endorsed artists. He plays a 6 string Spector.
I don't know if Bernard is still with JB's band.
You can go here to see a photo of him on Jay Leno's Tonight Show:

Really Mrak, all kidding aside,I saw one of your vids. You have great skills which,IMHO,would be going to waste with Disney type music.

Of course,if you're eventually shooting for a musical director type of position,I could see this course of action.

No, I totally see his position on this. It's a great gig. A good deal of money, 99% of people won't know you play for them, and there's tons of places to go with it. I personally would rather kill myself than work with the little bastard, but I see the logic.

The 'Disney pop stuff' is everything that's wrong with this world channeled into music. Well, music isn't really the point of it anyway.

I can see why one would want that though... I figure the pay is on the top end of the scale, you play huge crowds and you if you can handle the music, there's lots of fun to be had... if your other band members aren't total a**hats.

Maybe he just wants to get with Bieber's mom.

I mean, she's going to be the only legal single lady in the whole room.

Go for it Mark. I'd want to get some of that Disney money too if I were you.

k, so let me explain why i want this.

Who WOULDN'T want this gig? I appreciate the nice comments saying my playing would be wasted, etc etc. i REALLY do. means the world to me.
But, being a musician has always come second to me. I've always considered myself an entertainer on stage, and that's usually the first thing that people say about my playing "You're such fun to watch" etc.

So, there's that. Then there's the fact that I get to tour the world with amazing musicians (Check out some of the guys who play for these pop guys. Pretty wicked) and meet some super cool people. I won't be thrown into the spotlight, but if it's ever brought up in conversation, I can say "Yeah I play bass for Justin Bieber" or whoever.

Lastly, and least important (to me anyway) is I get paid a decent living. Probably not the best, but I'll be able to buy groceries.

I'm not in this for the money or the fame. I'm in it for everyone else, THEN i'm in it for my life.

I play pop music. I absolutley LOVE it, too!

I would totally be into playing bass for some 'mnstrm' pop star. I just think it would be fun. My favorite thing in the world is playing a song and watching a ton of people singing/screaming it back at/along with you.

EXACTLY!
There is NOTHING better than the band stopping abruptly and hearing the crown SING back to you.
