The Stingray was indeed used on the Aenima tour, usually for 46&2.

In a bass magazine dated whenever 10,000 days was released, I believe it said he used ernie ball hybrid slinkys and dunlop tortex 1mm picks. I'm looking for it now. Walbassplayer (member here) can probably clear it up I'm surprised he hasn't chimed in yet

Walbassplayer rarely checks in on talkbass anymore. I'll verify a few things: yes on Hybrid Slinkys, no on Prunes and Custard (it was a Hotcake), DD-3 actually, Rat+GEB-7 were always on in the channel running the 4x12 (didn't use the GK dirty sound). If you guys have any questions, feel free to ask. I'm still a hardcore talkbasser and am well versed on this subject.

If you need walbassplayer to chime in, I suppose I could call him though.

Whoops, I accidently typed DD-2, sorry 'bout that. No, that's a P&C, not a Hotcake. It's too fat to be a hotcake.

You know if you really wanted to find this stuff out easily,

toolbassplayer1 on Youtube knows ALL of Justin Chancellor' stuff.

He also knows a lot about Paul's rigs too.

I love those.

Our carpet guy had an Ovation Magnum 3 once. Not nearly worth as much, but a very nice instrument.

He used the Stingray during the AEnima tour for Prison Sex, not 46+2. I've only seen a few vids from that tour but do remember seeing the Ray for Prison Sex.

When I caught them on the 10,000 days tour he used two Wals, and that's it. Didn't see any other basses on the stand, even.

He owns two Wal's, even three, I think.

I know he owns a fretless and he owns the standard Flame Maple fretted four string that you always see him using...Anyone else wanna confirm?
