the multitracks for schism and vicarious have leaked, so if you know where to look you can hear justins wal tone on its own.

its so beautiful i got a little teary eyed.

That, and the fact that the Wal pickups have a separate coil for each string. That's a big difference in pickup characteristics!

By the way, does anyone here have the Salival cd / dvd? on that song Medina - Justin's clean tone. how does he do that? is it a chorus?

Yeah, he's using a Boss CE-5 Chorus. It sounds great. That songs is Merkaba by the way.

For the record....Wals have two coils per string and the EQ is a dual band-pass filter.

i'm not totally sure what you were trying to say,but i'm guessing you meant that those are basslines that justin came up with that aren't as complex as others.if that's what your trying to say,then you might wanna think again cause paul d'amour actually wrote the basslines for all of those songs but hooker with a penis.
