My sis has the album. I'll ask her to take a look at the liner notes. |

Correct. But he's not on the 1st one. I remember seeing some interview on Youtube where Turner discusses working on KEM's new album. So it's gotta be him on the new one. |

But I don't know if Harrington was on CD or just on the road. One of the reasons I miss Low Down Sound (Detroit bass shop) was I use to run into Mike there all the time. He's a great guy and a smoking player. I suspect, although I've never met him that Turner is pretty good too.
Mike plays in local clubs around town a lot with Alexander Zonjic (Jazz flautist). http://www.myspace.com/wwwmyspacecommikeharrington http://www.alturner.com/

For some reason, I'm thinking of a 'Peanut' or some guy with a nickname. If Al couldn't make the gig, this cat use to be there. Tall and thin and I think he wore glasses.
Edit: Found it. Quote: |
Currently Darrell "Peanut" Smith can be seen performing concerts with Motown Recording Artist "Kem", "Motown Legend" Martha Reeves, Pianist "Al McKenzie"-AMAC Records, Saxophonist Dave McMurray-"HipBop Records", Vocalist Penny Wells-AMAC Records, and Keyboardist Brian O'Neal
| Couple more pics. Saw him playing with Kem at the Hampton Jazz Fest in 2009.
