Had the pleasure of seeing Kim back in the early 80's in Colorado (Boulder & Colorado Springs) with his trio, Trees, Barta and Stone... They were incredible!

Former bassist for Spyro Gyra, too.
His playing on "City Kids" is very cool...the live version of "Conversations" (on URB) is also happening.

Old thread, but if you are in Denver, he frequently goes to the Wednesday night blues jam at Herb's on 21st and Larimer.

I got to meet him last night and played drums on a couple tunes with him.

The guy is one of the sickest cats on the planet, but he's also really cool and really approachable. The sense of fun and pure joy is evident the whole time he's up there... he sits down, leans back, and just lays it down.
