KJUNG in the October Bass Player?

Sign in to disble this ad
Not sure if this was posted, but in the Plug In Section on Page 10 of the October Issue of Bass Player (Matt Garrison on the Cover), there is commentary from a Ken Jung on BP's coverage of lightweight amps. Is the Ken Jung our KJung? If not, or if this has been posted already, please remove!

Hey guys. I wrote that as just a quick email to Jonothan (he is a TBer), since the topic interests me a lot.

Funny that I was paging through the issue, and there I was!

As some know, I am on a continuing crusade to keep players from lumping all micro amps into the same 'compromise versus bigger amps' group, and also to clarify that some large amps are class D, and some micro's are not (i.e., the class of amp shouldn't even really be considered when deciding on an amp.

It seems to me that Jonothan is using that little 'quick thoughts' section to address some of the issues that come up on TB quite a bit. That's a good idea IMO.... nice cross pollination between TB and Bass Player.

Congrats, Ken. You're a cool, insightful dude. You deserve it.
