Hello BassTalk members

I'm a English bass player, been playing about 4 years, love Victor wooten, Stanley, miller, yeah all the usual.

At the moment a have a few demos on a myspace account, just me and my guitarist, no drums yet, slow going but will happen =]

I've seen a couple of your videos on youtube before but I've never really much cared for the glut of Wooten impersonations on there. I mean, Wooten is the master, the one and only, but the constant retreading of his stuff has made him the Jaco of fretted bass, at least in terms of "clone" players!

Now I don't mean to be heavy and bring this down here, stick at playing and everything but I'd much rather hear something which "you" and not just a few licks cobbled together with Wooten tricks! You've certainly got the technique down! I've also got to say that I'm not loving the sound of the Roscoe there, it seems a bit thin and wooly! May just be the camera though.
