Sad news yesterday that the singer/bassist with Section 25, Larry Cassidy passed away.
They were an integral part of the whole Manchester post-punk scene, playing many shows with Joy Division, and their first single was co-produced by Ian Curtis.
Following their first two albums, they took on an electronic direction, split, then reformed a few years back.
For any fans of the whole post-punk, bass-heavy (JD, PiL, etc.) sound, their first two albums remain seminal.
