Hey everyone, discovered Canned Heat a while back and I was just fascinated with their bass player Larry "the mole" Taylor.. Anyone know what kind of amp/gear he used..I've seen a couple of vids of him playing a P. Is is till playing today? |

| | | | Last time I heard about Larry (some years ago maybe in a Bass Player mag.) he had given up electric bass for upright and wouldn't play with anything but gut strings. Yep, as I remember he played a P bass in the 60's-70's. I assume he is alive and well. |

Still playing the Precison then (don't recall the amp) with LaBella flats. He broke a string and a buddy of mine (we BOTH should have been studying for an organic chem final that night) got it when Larry tossed it out into the audience.
