I've been aware of Larry Taylor for some time. Recently, though, I was listening to John Mayall's live album "Jazz Blues Fusion." What a great recording! What really knocked me out was Larry Taylor's fantastic groove. He is a blues bass monster. Totally inventive but always in the pocket. I plan on copping a lot of licks from this. I recommend it to anyone who is interested getting some low down blues infused.
