We are covering 'Clocks' by Coldplay and "You say it best when you say nothing at all" by Ronan Keating. I'm the only one in our band of non-keyboard players that can just about manage the piano parts. As such the lead guitarist is playing MY bass
I knew you guys would understand.

Whenever you suspect that the lead guitarist will play your bass, bring a really cruddy one with high action. |

Needless to say, he was pretty horrible the first few times. It was still horrible seeing my bass in the hands of a g****r player afterwards though |

Wait a minute, it can't get worse! You're covering Coldplay.
You guys are screwed, I'm sorry. I can understand the appeal of wanting to nail some liberal-arts chicks, but Coldplay?! |

This might be also becasue he is a drummer and understands the groove. Other times at a practice one of the guitar players tried to do his " Flea impersonation" and slap .....didnt work out to well. I never really understand the hate against guitar players here but whoever plays my bass...never sounds quite right to me. |
