The is my first thread on talkbass so I figured I would bring up probably my most influential bass player. How about that tone and those chunky tortured bass lines? Music to my ears... any other Kim fans out there? |

Kim said that most players can't resist the urge to put fills and variations in and are incapable of thumping along on the root for an extended period.

Kim is a sexy bass god. |

| | | | the tension that she creates by playing those "boring" lines is gut wrenching, when the song finally breaks away it creates such a feeling of relief. she is a testament to the idea that less is more |

I put Kim In the Adam Clayton mode of bass playing.
Where the band sound, over-shadows her playing.
Solid, fits the song playing. |
