I'm a proud dad of three boys, the youngest is my teenage transgender son. I'm also an active member in our (growing) PFLAG chapter, as is my spouse.

How the heck one knows for sure? I'm 30 years old and I still can't figure it out (maybe I still have a hard time accepting it, despite my efforts to not give much of a damn about everything anymore). |
We should all just be able to love whom we love. Quote:

Love is a precious commodity and it should be celebrated whenever it exists.

I'm certainly straight and have been in a relationship with an amazing girl for 6 years now. Her brother is gay, though, and he's known that for some years. He told his friends, an accepting aunty and uncle and us about it 2 years ago, but not his parents. They're lovely people, but certain ideals and a certain book cloud their judgement. However, this year he is moving from the town he (and we) grew up in, to the city where my girlfriend and I live now, which is far more liberal and, as far as I can tell from an outsiders perspective, has a great LGBT community. I'm excited for him to move down and, hopefully, experience some feeling of liberation. |

Anyway, I didn't know this thread existed! I don't join groups on TB because there are so many and I have a slight case of what people in the medical profession would probably deem OCD... so if I join one I'd have to seek out and join all of the ones that apply... and then I would forget to eat, forget to sleep, and I'd get around to even less homework than I do at this point.... you can see my problem
In any case, just wanted to post and say hi! |

number please? | I to use the term queer as I don't think other people need to know the nitty gritty of all facets of my sexuality and gender.

Been playing bass for just over a year now at the ripe age of 45). But, hey, they say it is never too late for either so "hi all!" and may I have a number?
