He is amazing. He's on some Killer recordings w/ Karim Ziad. World African fusion kind of stuff (along w/ Michel Alibo who's also amazing).
I saw him w/ Zawinul and though he has stoooopid crazy chops, he didn't seem to need to use them. He played tasteful all night w/ the occasional *** was that moment.
