Her technique's down, with the distal phalanx of the thumb resting on the neck, rather than the metacharpal (I'm sorry if I spelled these wrong).

Agreed if she had bigger hands she would be doing less pause in between the note changes but still manages to doit, bigger hands indeed will become less of a struggle to reach those notes, but indeed she is doing good

Hey, she's pretty neat. That right hand is impressive.. so mature-looking in it's technique. I'll give her two more years and she'll be doing some rockin' shows at school with other talented kids..

Lots of position changes. I wouldn't move hands as much as that......

The "short scale" looks like it's a 32". Not much shorter than a regular 34" scale bass.
