A little inspirational kick?

This post is just seeing here if any of you before you practice or head of for a gig do you watch or listen to anything inspirational before you get started. Before every practice session I have normally at home after I set up my bass and itty bitty amp I usually turn on a few videos on youtube just to get that little kick. Anyone else do this and if so, what are they? this is mine

Metallica Live at Moscow singing creeping death. LOVE the bassline at about 4 minutes, its so freaking EVIL sounding. Not to mention the rest is an amazing performance.

and of course this Newsted Bass solo

After watching these I just want to rip off lines for days.

While warming up before practiceing or playing a gig I'll play a few lines of some of my favorites songs. Chameleon by HErbie Hancock, She Caught The Katy by The Blues brothers . Those are two songs that are frequent.

When I first heard Birdland- weather report, I stayed up from 7:00pm to 4:30am learning it. I got up at 6:30 for school the next day to show everyone what I learned.

That song changed my life entirely.
