Lagrène is a huge talent! ... It's obvious the impact Jaco had on him, due to the time he spent with Jaco touring.

However, IMO ... in this video, Lagrène is trying to throw just about every "Jaco" trick into the tune ... kinda kills it for me.

yeap. whenever i see people flat out wanting to be jaco, its kind of lame. his tone sounds all nasaly and whimpy. jacos tone was a lot deeper and punchier, but with those nasal bridge pickup quialities..

but anyway, he is definately playing the right grooves..
