Little Milton's bass player?

Who might this be on the "Grits Ain't Groceries" track? - on the Little Milton: Greatest Hits (Chess) album. There are faster versions. I like this one. It could have been lots of players - no credits listed. Still, someone may recognize the style. Carol Kaye? Jamerson?

Louis Satterfield was one of Verdine White's (Earth, Wind, & Fire) teachers. They wrote a good beginngers' bass book too. He was a Chess session player for a while as well.
