Longest serving bassist on TB

The idea is to find out who has been playing bass longest on TB. No fibs and no exaggerations. I'll start by saying that I started playing in 1971. Anybody else?

I'd check in w/the DB side as well, you've got a few who've been playing since the 50s, notably Paul Warburton (who worked w/Bill Evans).

Interesting question, though. Me? 1974 so obviously I'm out of the running. Does starting another musical instrument earlier count in this poll?

No. Just electric bass. Sorry doublers should have specified.
