He's still playing his 70'a Sabre. I'd be too nervous to play bass in front of him.

Maybe, but he seems so down to earth, I think he'd be fun to jam/hang/talk with, you know?

I bet there's a "funk spot" left everywhere that man sits. You probably can't even see it, but anyone that sits where he has suddenly just starts feeling funky and their head starts bobbing.

Coolest. Cat. Ever.

A "funk spot" where someone sits doesn't sound too cool.

Back to the topic: That had to be a thrill to have him in the house.

Funk Spot - LOL! Still, I wouldn't mind sitting in one if I would absorb LJ's funky feel.

The lucky dude, funkstar560, has some chops too. Sometimes, I'd rather hang out with a legend than attend a clinic, you know? Just shoot the breeze.

I wish that guy would not have been playing the whole time. Would have liked to be able to hear what LJ was playing instead.

Ok. My little joke bombed. I guess no one LOOKED CLOSE enough at my previous post. Or, no one gave a rat's ass...... I give up.

I'm a decent slapper, but I think I'd freeze up solid if Louis Johnson was sitting on my couch. Hats off to that dude for even being able to play anything in his presence.

Louis was being way cool and encouraging. I think one of the comments said Johnson wanted the guy to be on his instructor's list. What an honor.
