Correct me If I'm wrong but this leaves Gary Rossington the only original Skynyrd member alive.

RIP Ean.........

Gary Rossington is the only member of Skynyrd alive for about 4 months now when the keyboardist Billy Powell died.

Saw them in August. Wasn't a great show, but I'd bet they'd rock if they came up with some new material.

Leon Wilkeson died in 2002 IIRC

Hi All,

For those who don't know, Ean Evans finished recording a CD with Bobby Capps of .38 Special. The band was called Evanscapps and the CD is called "Last Time." It was released yesterday.

A portion of the proceeds wil be going to Lyrics For Life (www.lyricsforlife.org), and organization that benefits children fighting cancer and their families.

You can read more here: http://www.lynyrdskynyrd.com/?module...ews_item_id=75

And listen to the band here: http://www.myspace.com/evanscapps

Thank you

Gary is the only original memeber IN the band. Ed King (guitar, wrote Sweet Home Alabama), Bob Burns (drums), and Artimus Pyle (Drums) are three original members still alive but not in the band.

Seriously, the Skynyrd bandmates are at that age where natural causes finally comes into play.
