Major web-site overhaul

Sign in to disble this ad
I would like opinions on how the site is looking so far. Things should be further along in about a month.
Basically, I need opinions on the level of professionalism the site has and any constructive suggestions. It is bare bones right now, but you can get an idea where it is going.
Thanks,
Russ

P.S. Follow link at bottom.

I used to develop websites for a living and appreciate a good clean site. You've done a great job.

The only thing that kind of bugs me is the white space that shows up when you mouse-over the links but no biggie.

What part of SLC are you located in?

The site is actually being professionally done. I wish I were that good.

Smidge, I teach in Midvale and I live in Sandy.
Thanks for the input,
Russ

I used to develop sites as well at one time,,
I was surprised to see your developer is using Joomla.. I looked at that a while ago, I see it's progressed quite far since I last played with it...

The site is quite effective, clean, easy navigation, easy to understand...
great site..

Contstructive:
It looks like a template to me, which is cool if that is what you are paying for. I have no idea why it would take so long to be done if that is the case.

I do high end web, print and other things for a living (graphicemergency.com) and I do most of my websites in 2 weeks, this is after I have all the content and OK's on everything.

adamonbass.com I built in 45 minutes including the picture because I needed something up for a management company. I am redoing this site and it will be done in a week, and will be smokin'.

I agree ordinarily it would not take long. But I have been slow to the punch to get info to him. I am extremely busy. There is an ecommerce as well as member database for local students that is going in. I am working with some new to me midi things that are holding the project back.
Thanks for the comments,
Russ
