Word man! I've seen them before! I live in western MD and we have an awesome dive bar that has shows pretty frequently, and about 90% of said shows are 100% doom!! Old Crow, im pretty sure, has played here. In our town's (Frederick) pawnshop there's even an autographed picture of The Obsessed. Old doom dudes are all over this area. At any of these local shows, there's always members and ex members of bands like Place of Skulls, Pentagram, Earthride, St Vitus, Internal Void, Valkyrie, Unorthodox, Revelation... etc etc etc...
It's a rad place
Out here we have the old-schooly Vitus doom.. and to the east in Baltimore we have an awesome collection of newer doom bands. The wall-of-sound oppressively heavy types!
Haha, in fact, there's always CL musician posts by older doom dudes looking for people to jam with.
