But word is Shaun Cooper and John Nolan are back in the band, which is friggin' awesome if true. Tell All Your Friends is def. one of my favorite albums of all time. |

the thing is Matt is good for their current style but when it comes to TAYF (one of my fav albums of the decade) shaun owns that ****
he adds like this reggae groove to them it's sick
don't get me wrong Matt is one of my influences, but its about style+the music

I'm actually gutted, matt was one of my favourite bass players. Hopefully him and fazzi will perhaps have a project. |

There are a couple of really good songs on there but to me the rest are just kinda meh. I couldn't dig New Again at all.
A lot of people are probably hoping for Tell All Your Friends Part Deux with this reunion, but I doubt that will be the case. I'm really looking forward to hearing some new stuff and hope they come around here when they tour again! |

you're so last summer made me eternally hate them just a bit. cute without the E was the only saving grace of that album IMO.
but back on track. sorry. matt will do better things. everyone knows how good he is. he'll end up in some crazy bitchin' indie band or something.

And I'll be keeping track of what Matt is up to for sure. I'm not a Jazz bass guy at all, but his tone on Where You Want to Be has me gassing for a 5 string Jazz whenever I listen to it.

Either way, TBS was good before Matt, and will be fine without him. Likewise, I'm sure he will go on to bigger and better things. He truly is a great rock bassist.

The scrolling text at the bottom near the end of the video says:
"Sometimes it takes some time to remember where you were headed in the first place and the people you intended to go there with. There's no hard feelings, just the future."
Also, it sounds like a new song in the background.

Huh, this is pretty interesting.....

If WB doesn't release it Victory will probably snap up the opportunity. Matt joined when they were still on Victory, so I don't think he's "property" of WB, but I guess I could be wrong. |
