MCA/Adam Yauch Gear?

Sign in to disble this ad
Let's face it. Yauch is one of the smoothest bassists out there. If you're unfamiliar with Yauch's basswork, find a copy of the collection "The In Sound from Way Out!" and just let that record spin. It's great!

I was wondering if anyone knows MCA's setup? Beyond the Am.Dlx. Fender Jazz he uses for songs like "Sabotage," etc., i'm clueless. The electric double? Amps? Anyone?

Adam has got some funk for sure.

I don't know his gear, but I like a lot of his stuff.

Everytime I throw on distortion, I gotta play Grattitude, and that's what I...

I don't know, but I do think he's got a kill switch on his jazz, during the live version of Grattitude he uses it, it's crazy, he could be added to the "Tom Morello of bass" thread.
