McClusky Distortion...

ok.. so a long time ago I asked about a particular McClusky song..(to hell with good intentions)... but the more I listen to em, the more Im just drooling over those bass distortions..

there are soooo many good different distortions on the bass what the heck does he use? it cant just be one pedal... any Ideas??

Sounds like Big Muff to me. Set very mildly. I know the guy in future of the left used a russian muff. sounds pretty similar, different players though.
