Very creative and solid musicians... also reminds me of Zorn and Naked City.

Just saw them last night with Daughters... She was using a hartke ha3500 head, Ampeg 8x10" and a Warwick 4 String. She also had some pedals but i couldnt make out what they were. Great show!

I put Melt Banana in with Minutemen & Captain Beefheart, as creating their own unique, unmistakable music/noise rock that tests friendships and can clear out a party.

Put on one of the above bands a see who your friends really are?

i love melt banana, ive been into them for a while and saw them last year. the bassist has great tone and she used a similar setup to what lagaupia said.

if you like melt banana check out the locust, boredoms, ex models, daughters, lightning bolt, captain beefheart, mkclusky, nervous kid.. they are all quite different but all very original, different stuff
