Adrian -

You are forever in our hearts and in our prayers. Your influence and example will have a positive impact now and always. May you find the peace you deserve. May you be one with Christ always.

My deepest condolences and sympathy to his family.

Ed

Hey Vic,

That was a year ago this month we met. One more week or so will be one year. I remember being blown away at Adrian's acceptance. It wasn't like he was resigned from the fight, but he accepted his condition with such dignity. I was taken back. Simply an amazing human being.

Maybe deep down I knew I'd never see Adrian again, but it hurt. Anyway, I'll always have this and my memories, at least...

I recognize that lovely poem, and it is certainly appropriate. Thanks for sharing it.

I'll always remember my time with Adrian and Kimberly at the Bass Bash at 2007 Winter NAMM:

I did not have the chance to know him like some of you guys and gals here, spoke to him on the FBass forums a few times, etc but he was always such a help. I really did like his playing but it's easy to see here in this thread that its not just his playing that touched so many but his spirit and his walk with God. RIP, a great one has gone home.

I did some deals with Adrian and you could just tell he was one of the special few, the ones that have that special light that many of us strive for.

I can't stop crying. Even when you know it's coming, it hits like a ton of bricks. I've been through this so many times, with family and friends, and it never gets any easier. The only thing good about this is that Adrian is no longer hurting.

Goodbye, Adrian. Thank you once again for the example you set for us, not only as a player, but as a person. I miss you already...

My next gig I will dedicate to you.

I still own a bass I bought from Adrian, and it still has all the magic. Every time I play it, I'll think of him.

Keep on rocking, Adrian...

+1 to our loss being heaven's gain. My prayers are with the Garcia family.

He was one of the people that inspired me to start playing in the praise band (he probably didn't realize that since we never talked that much). His legacy is proof that I have a long way to go to be half the man...

It is shame that it was this occasion I found such a great piece of poetry.

Thank you.

Many felt this coming on. It still doesn't make it easier when it comes to pass.

RIP, Adrian.

Adrian, you are with our father and I'm sure he welcomed you with a warm embrace. You've been a blessing to everyone and you will be missed but you are much better off than we are. Prayers and blessings to you and your family!
