She's damn cool. And her songs are so personal. Wonderful influence. TY for the shots.

I love that pic of Meshell playing her bass. As a terrible gear whore, I really admire anyone who has fallen in love with a bass and has kept through the years. I know really connecting with one's instrument is key to really getting the most out of one's own sound. I hope my current Jazz will provide that connection for me.

One of the best musicians/bass players/Lyrical poets/ playing today. To be honest i would rather listen to Meshell over Wooten, Jaco, or many of the most advanced players..Ok (except Patitucci)..And that is just her bass..Never mind her lyrics, and music.. Have you heard Bitter Sweet, damn what a record!!!!!

She has so much feeling inside of her..Havent seen her playing the Fodera much lately?

She must love that Labella/Jazz combo!!!

Thanks for the shots Phil..
