Met Mike here in Newport last night. Very Nice. Very Mellow. Told him that I was playing Holliday in my cover band and he was welcome to step in and do the bass for that song. (We'll see). He showed me some of the details of playing that song. Anyway, a brush with bass stardome. Thanks Mike if you're ever here on the forum.

thats cool. not to take away from it but im my experiance its prety easy to meet punk guyes. if you put in any effort at all when you go to a whoe you can end up backstage fairly eaisely.

I agree that most people can play the part, but I disagree that Mike is a 'punk guy'. He's held in there and come up with some tasty bass lines that most of the common folk can actually understand. A viruoso....no, but a damn good working guys bass-player....absolutely!
