yeah... saw the flecktones and then met them at a signing later. talked to bela for a few minutes, and then met the rest of band and shook vic's hand. i had heaps of stuff to say to him, but i when i actually met him, i couldnt say anything. i thought, he must have 1000s of people a week say the same sh!t everytime, "i really dig your playing, youve been a great influence on me etc...." and he was really humble in his approach. so i just shook his hand, and got hom to sign the cd.
not that i would ever quote vic as an influence on my playing, but i do enjoy his music, and it is inspiring sometimes watching the youtubes of him.
great show. didnt go for long enough.
much better then the time i met weckl. or oasis. my favorite to date would have to be the time i met ?uestlove.
