What was the first metal song you played in a band? Mine was "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath.

Yeah, I know. I'm old.

Geezer was an eye opener for me. I found him and JPJ at about the same time. Then I discovered Iron Maiden when I sneaked out of a wrestling clinic and saw them at the UIC Pavilion around Detroit, I think it was, on the Piece of Mind tour.

You forgot:
Progressive.
Doom.
Sludge.
Speed.
Extreme.
Avant-garde.
Experimental.
Brutal.
Funk.
Southern.
Stoner.
(there are more I know but those are just all the ones with the word 'metal' at the end. Don't wanna start listing jazzcore and things, the word metal isnt in there)

Geezer Butler, John Paul Jones and Steve Harris have all influenced my style of playing. The ones who have influenced me the most are Jason Newsted, David Ellefson, and Bob Daisley.

I'm actually in my first band right now and we are writing our own original stuff. But we are going to cover Peace Sells by Megadeth and Master of Puppets by Metallica.

Recently gotten into Grindcore (The Berzerker).

My band is like a mix between Opeth and All shall perish.
