Metal?!? Seriously?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm new to TB and as I've been looking around the past couple weeks I've noticed people talk about metal. Are there really many people out there who play and listen to metal?!? I mean really, is there any other type of music that is as completely unmusical? And I'm not talking Metallica-type metal, that's all well and good. I mean like, puppy-eating, baby-microwaving, mic-swallowing metal. If that's the case, stop posting and go learn about real music. Here's a good place to start. Three great albums released this year:
1) The Shins - Wincing the Night Away
2) Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
3) Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank

i hate those albums you listed with a passion!
i am not the biggest metal head but id rather listen to 4 hours non stop cannibal corpse than listen to cold play at all!

uh, emo music? to each their own, but don't bag on other people's music until you've looked at how complex alot of death metal is.
