Grooving totally. And switches to a Modulus halfway through the tune.

This is a smoking band nonetheless.

He's also a producer on many CD's and DVD's. I believe he directs, writes, etc. All around music guy. Great player.

Thank you for a great moment of true inspiration! I keep forgetting how exceptional Mr. Metheny's playing and compositions are. Is that Richard Bono on Percussion? I know he toured with him for a couple of years, singing and playing percussion. Also does Pat Metheny age? I swear he looks just like the guy I first heard in college in 78 and was wondering who this weird long hair jazz player was.

I have seen him live 5 times and his whole group did nothing but impress. The Secret Story tour was incredible.

I've seen him with a few bassists... Bona and Christian McBride are my favorites!

No the percussionist that took the first solo is Armano Marcal and that was from a 92 concert, during that time Bona was basicaly an unknown compared to where he's at today.

Steve Rodby just grooves! I just watched another youtube video of 'Are You Going With Me' but played differently and with female vocals! Very interesting.

My introduction to PAt M's music. I was living in the dorms back in 1983 when I heard the stereo of the guy next door. I went over and he asked if I'd like him to turn it down. I said I wanted him to turn it up. That's the only time I ever made a request like that. Oh and BTW--last year I met Pat M and you're right. He never ages---must be that Dick Clark thing.

the old Mark Egan/Danny Gottlieb rhythm section w/Metheny was pretty grooving, too.

Is there anything you don't know? Your knowlegde never stops. Must be from being "in the industry."

I think he could stand to lose the singers doubling every melody.

Other than that, effing awesome.

Hey the guy who does vocals is Pedro Aznar! He played bass with Pat Metheny as well... Check him out, he's one of the best argentinian bassist.
