Some slap bass victor wooten style

PIPOQUINHA BASS (VINHEDO-SP) CEARÁ - YouTube

too bad i didnt start playing bass till i was 10 years older than this kid here. lol..

This kid reminds me a perfect example of being fearless and just letting music play itself... Hes not afraid to whatever it sounds like

Clearly, we need to ramp up some sanctions on Brazil! Jeez. The water, you think? Better fruit? Seriously; I'd seen the slapping vid before. What I'm struck hardest by is the joy with which he seems to approach playing. How come it took me most of a lifetime to understand that you get a lot farther - a lot faster - that way than by making some sort of contest with yourself or others out of it? This kid's phenomenal. Wonderful. For someone so young to play musically... kinda gives you hope for the world, huh?

Why is bass better than guitar? Because you can't play 'Hey there Delilah' on bass.
