Anybody see Michael Rhodes backing up Vince Gill and Albert Lee? I'm not much a of a country player, but Michael Rhodes is an absolute monster! That man has an absolutely airtight groove! I've gotta get a handle on that country shuffle groove.

I believe that is a Pino Sig. I saw he had a Sadowsky four onstage too.

Off topic: Dang! I just missed Tal Wilkenfeld after putting my baby to bed.

She was UNBELIEVEABLE. kept a solid groove, had wicked tone, and when she whipped out that solo.....

Yeah, that was a great show. Michael Rhodes was great, as were Tal and the other bassists. At least with Tal, they had her featured prominently in the mix. A lot of the time, you really have to strain to hear the bassist. I had to smile when I saw Willie Weeks out there. What a killer bass player. He can groove for days. And among all those great guitar players, ya' gotta' love Derek Trucks.
