Anyone know what-ever happen to Michael Wiley of the 70's 80's group The Dazz band, remember the hit "let it whip" I remember he had a backgroud in Jazz, and he played a Musicman bass. They were hot at the time

Sadly Michael Wiley did commit suicide in the early 90's and he did it right in front of The Dazz bands co-founder,keyboardist Kenny Pettus and yes Micheal was a very talented Bassist with a very identifiable sound.

I heard "Let It Whip" on the way home today. Awesome funk bass line. It led me to seek out the bassist. Sorry to learn of his tragic end.
