I deserted Michigan for Colorado.

I took my basses with me.

I went to Bass pro shop and to my surprise they didn't have a single bass guitar.

My band Scratch is playing out this Saturday (March 17) at the Rack n Roll in Riverview. It’s a cool bar, descent P.A and stage.
We are a 4 piece rock cover band. Should be a good time if anyone’s interested in coming out.

My last gig with my cover band is tonight at Anita's in Marine City, if anybody in the Blue Water area wants to hear a 15/6 fEARful in a live band situation, come on up! Could be a while till the fEARfuls see any gigs.

Sorry man, didn't think about it till late, I did about 5 gigs the St Clair Inn with it too....but if your still up in St Clair shoot me a PM and you can swing down here in Algonac and play through it some day. I have both a 15/6 and 12/6/1 Cube with the Carvin BX 1500, plus a VT Bass and Tonehamer you can play through.

My band(1/2 Cashed) played Anitas a few weeks ago, drummer barely fit on the riser! . Outpost last Thur, nice big place.
we're playing Dorsey House this Sat, but we're trying to get away from restaurants/bars as we seem to just piss off the dinner crowd!

Geez, we should have a BlueWater area get together.... Yeah that was our second time at Anita's, and they had a fundraiser going when we got there with quite a few senior citizens... Needless to say we didn't open with Sex Type Thing like we planned.

year or so ago Anita's had a really nice stage back by where the pool tables are now,and i'd swear they water down the booz ,but i think the current setup doesn't work for beans. How is the crowd @St.Clair Inn?? we always had a good time playing Murphy's Inn
a BlueWater get together would be sweet. we're thinking of a way to play on pontoon boats up and down Black River on Boat night this year. that would be fun

That would be something to see I've seen bands play on Gull Island during Jobbie Nooner, using generators. If you can find a pontoon big enough to fit you guys, and a generator and be able to hear yourself over it, it could work. The Inn is alright, they get a pretty good 20 something crowd in there that wants to dance, the downfall is they 1099 bands. Talk to Glen for booking, they usually don't book that far in advance, we have played a couple of times there on short notice from him.

Hey St Clair and Macomb County guys, I started a FB group for Blue Water area musicans. A place to post gigs, look for band mates, subs, sell or swap gear, or talk about music in general. Join if you want, the more the better.....here's the link.

Ooh, just got back to this thread.... I'll take you up on this sometime. Right now my Fender P that I'd like to hear through the fEARful is in the shop. Plugged it in after a week long workout and got some awful feedback.

Now that's funny!

You just made me flashback to numerous memories as a kid hearing all the news reports of fires/looting in Detroit on devil's night.

Flashback? You haven't been watching the news lately then. Probably a good 30 abandoned homes up in flames since the start of the year.
