good stuff, sure is one of the better bassplayers in the "punk" scene. he has a good melodic style, but still keeps that punk thrash. I dig him...

Underrated in the bass world and underappreciated by their fans. Armstrong would be lost without his steady, catchy, lines.

But being rich can ease his pain, I'm sure.

I think Green Day is one of the better pop punk bands out there. Green Day is really well polished in their playing and hang together. Thanks to Dirnt.

Mike is hero, the reson why I play bass. Too me, the way makes counter-melodys to the vocals is the reason why he is so good. I've seen Green Day live five times, and the last time I saw them they picked members of the crowd to form a band on stage to play the song 'Knowledge', and he picked me to play bass. How many other bands give their fans an opprotunity like that? I've talked too him also and I must say he is one of the most friendly, down-too-earth people I have ever met.

My biggest influence. I love his pick tone and the fills he plays are so cool.

yo tambien... y muy bien!...

is just that i think that i´m very exposed to english, took classes since i was 9 years old, 99% of my CD collection is from bands that sing in english, i spend most of my "internet time" on english forums and pages and most TV i watch is in english.

also my look doesn´t help... i´m all white and blonde... everyone i know tell me that they thought i was a "Gringo" when they first met me

Ok back to Dirnt:
He´s good! i remember playing lots of Green Day songs on my first year on Bass...

I must agree, the guy's excellent. Doesn't show off, just plays stuff that sounds really good and mixes with the song really nice. Listen to Insomniac, just about every song on that CD show just how good he really is.
