Mike Gordon bringin the effects..???

Haven't been to a show since Conventry but trolling through the last few nights of this recent tour. Not sure if Mike has a new toy but sure seems heavy with the effects. I realize he has always used something...these seem a little more pronounced. Even Mike's Song was venturing into the weird spectrum...

Based on Interviews and his strange way of communication with his fans ( the answer machine game) i'd say hes getting bored. to the point where on the green sparrow tour he was thinking of getting a bass player so he could do the other things. So effects outside of his normal range wouldnt suprise me. hes also always had a very heavy synth bass effect at random times.
