Check him out on Heart Alive in Seattle. He blew me away and his tone on that recorded is killer.

Great player, one of the nicest guys I know, and thanks to him, I can never look at artichokes the same way.

Saw them in the summer. had the second slot to Pearl Jam at a festival in Bilbao. What a show! They were brilliant, as was Inez. Only problem is, I depsise his choice in basses (all Warwicks...). Jeff Ament's bass collection is much more my thing...

I had a nice conversation with him a few nights ago after the AIC show here in ATL. Very nice guy. Although I also don't share his taste in basses, his tone was actually quite good and he played really well.

A good example on how simple lines make a great song.

I read most of his tabs and them songs are so easy.

I watched videos of him playing and find it funny how he headbangs by just playing E and A through an entire song.

Yeah, I'm a fan, now that I've gotten over my "Mike Starr left the band?!? And who the hell is this new guy?" snit ... some 20-ish years later ...

I'm a big AIC fan and love those lines but that's all I've heard of him so I don't feel I can really judge.

Pop in Jar of Flies. The opening Bass line is wicked. It instantly hooks you. Incredible bass player. I dig Mike Starr too. The bass lines from Dirt are sick!

Huge fan of Mike Inez. One of my favorite rock bassists. I love how is tone fits in perfect with the rest of the band and he's always playing tasteful licks.

He's a great player, I just wish his tone on Black Gives Way To Blue was more "defined", but there DEFINATELY is bass!!! The only song you can really hear the essence of his bass sound is on the 1st verse of A Looking In View.

Love his playing, even though he's a "Wick" guy...

I noticed recently "W" made him a cherryburst replica of his NS2 b/c I guess they didn't want him onstage w/ the "S" bass anymore...

He is actually my fave Ozzy lineup too:
Inez
Mylde

Great player, great tone. But Mike Starr was great too. His bass sound on DIRT is awesome.
