I've done a bit of searching but haven't found what SVT he used during the face life album. I know he played Spector NS2 bass's and an ampeg 810 but what about his SVT? Classic? VR? or ordinal SVT

Probably either a vintage 70's head, or a II (non pro). VR's and Classics hadn't come out yet in '91/'92.

You can see it on the Live Facelift dvd (or vhs). It's on YouTube too.
Going from memory, I think I remember glimses of the rack mount version tube head (SVT II) with the normal 8x10 SVT cab (black cloth). That concert was 1990 and the amp may not have been new so I'd guess it was an 80's or very early 1990.
