mind blowing progressive record and bass tone & playing..

Hi all,
i decided to share some info about a band that you might miss among all the new and upcoming bands. I am talking about "Riverside", they are a progressive band from Poland. They use Mayones instruments (Polish) and their latest record, "Anno Domini High Definition" (look it up on youtube if you wish) is a masterpiece of progressive metal, it literally blew my socks off and so they did when they came to play in my place in Greece..

you HAVE to check out the bass playing in this recording, its probably the best bass i have heard in a metal recording for ages. Both in terms of technique (both pic and finger) and ability but also in tone and effects. Both the bassist and the guitarist use HUGE amounts of effects/pedals and they definitely know how to use them. If it seems i am obsessed its because i really am. Just check this band out, first if you like progressive stuff, second to check out a kick ass basist.

lets hope they tour again soon or release something really soon. hope your mind is blown off too!
