Agreed on Mars Volta. The guitar playing is infuriatingly sloppy and decidedly NOT funky.

Somebody correct me on the spelling, because I'm sure I'll butcher the name - Jaraquomi - but their bass player is smokin' hot, and the cut I heard sounded funky.
