Very talented individual. Possibly the most talented of all the Cowboys. Sung harmony. Wrote some of the songs. Did the artwork on the later albums. All while laying down the foundation for everyone else. Man, I need to bust out the those cds again. It has been far too long.

What he said.
I have all their albums, but never got to see them live.

A great little band, too bad they're gone.

Excellent band. Really loved their first album. I really think the King's X comparisons were unfair. (Not a dis to KX, since I enjoy that band also)

Monty Colvin Interview

There's a brand new interview with Monty Colvin just published this month on my new website at www.12stringbass.net . Monty talks about the Galactic Cowboys, his years playing 8 and 12-string basses, his upcoming CD and his art. Cool guy! Check it out!

I really miss seeing GC live. They were an awesome band. Like JMX, I own all of their CDs.
