There has been a lot of really good isolated bass tracks being posted lately & I thought I would add this.

In this they have isolated all the parts of The Rolling Stones "Gimme Shelter". It has always been one of my favorite songs.

F the bass tracks.
Did you listen to Merry Clayton's voice isolated on that recording? Right around 2:35-3:00, the hairs stand up . She was awesome.

Her part is probably the only part that is by itself outstanding. Mick, Keith, Bill & Charlie's parts by themselves are nothing great, but when it is all put together it turns into a great song. I sent it out to the people that I play with to show that each part does not have to be the worlds greatest part. That it is the timing and everything coming together that makes a great song.

THAT"S SICK!!! The bass track link isn't working anymore but Merry Clayton from 2:35-3:00 is just insane. Listened 3 times and it gave me goosebumps every time!

Hearing Keith's guitar isolated is pretty amazing too. Killer really.

Thanks for sharing!
