Wooten, his fingerstyle work is amazing and his solo bass tapping/harmonics arrangements are generally excellent, but double thumping is the worst and least musical thing ever to happen to bass, his compositions feel forced and emotionless and he's all round a wasted talent.

Nikki Sixx. He also very very lucky in the girlfriend dept at the moment with Kat Von D.

I hate when people say Flea. Have you ever played his stuff? Heard a whole album of RHCP? He is a grooving fool that sometimes gets overshadowed by his early slappy flash stuff.

I don't have a problem with Flea he's a very good bassist.
In fact half the people at least my age around here wouldn't even be playing slap if it weren't for him.

1. You don't know what that man can do. 2. Apart from beeing a bassist he's a great compositor too...
You can not tell who's good or bad, every1 has his specialities lad..

People have different styles, you may not like a certain style, so it doesn't always mean they're overrated. I personally think simpler grooves sound better, just the music I like.
